What Causes Heart Disease?

According to the CDC, heart disease is the major cause of death in the United States ... but what causes heart disease. It has claimed more lives than all the other diseases put together. Estimates suggest that more than 12 million people die each year from heart disease, worldwide, while 631,636 died in the United States in 2006 from this cause
Heart or cardiovascular disease involves the heart and its network of blood vessels. This involves one system that is responsible in circulating the blood all throughout the body and another system that circulates blood through the lungs.
